We are Level Groundworks, a small, family run firm based in Hull, working across East Yorkshire and out as far as York. We have over 15 years in the trade, much of it on commercial buildings and new build developments right across the region. We are time served, and our work speaks for itself.
We handle the heavy end and the finish. Excavation, drainage, concrete, foundations and retaining walls, then the paving, paths, patios and driveways that people live with every day. The same crew and the same standards, whether it is a development site or a back garden.

Block paving, tarmac or gravel, which driveway is best?
Each has its place. Block paving looks smart and is easy to repair, tarmac is hard wearing and good value over larger areas, and gravel is the most affordable and drains well. We will talk you through what suits your property and your budget.
Do you remove the old driveway or patio?
Yes. We dig out and clear the existing surface, load the spoil and cart it away as part of the job, so you are left with a clean, finished result and nothing to dispose of yourself.
How long does a driveway or patio take?
Most domestic driveways and patios take a few days, depending on the size, the groundwork and the weather. We give you a realistic timescale with your quote and keep you updated as we go.
